As I am sure many of you are aware, Monday nights are my healthy takeaway alternatives night. If you fancy a takeaway style pizza or a luxury mushroom burger, make sure to check those posts out.

Takeaways are easy, and tasty and fine to indulge in every now and again, but if you want to eat great food, thats easy to prepare and cheap without worrying about your health then look no further, this is the post for you! 

Because the nuggets and chips are so easy to make, they are a great way for busy mums to get a healthy meal down their kids, for veggie students to make pre night out, and for those of us who are so busy with work the last thing we want to think about is food! 
Crispy, healthy, quick, tofu,nuggets, slim, weight loss,

These nuggets are super high in protein as they are made from tofu a derivative from soya. The chips are made from new potatoes, and a small amount of spray fat it used to help portion control.


  • 2 TBPS Bread crumbs (panko)
  • 2 TBSP Tamari (or soy sauce)
  • 1.5 TBSP Agave Syurp 
  • 1 Block Tofu Drained and Blotted 
  • 1 Tin New Potatoes in water-Fresh are nicer but tinned are quicker! 
  • Salt and pepper
  • Chicken Seasoning (the schwarts is veggie). 


  1. Pre-heat oven to 180c Fan.
  2. Mix together Agave and Tamari.
  3. Cover a plate in bread crumbs. 
  4. Drain tofu and place on kitchen roll. Blot dry and cut into 9 chunks.
  5. Dunk the Tofu chunks into the tamari mix and then place on the bread crumb plate, covering in bread crumbs. 
  6. Cut up the tinned potatoes into chunks and cover in salt and pepper. 
  7. Spray a baking tray with a few sprays of oil.
  8. Place potato and tofu chunks onto tray and spray with couple of sprays of oil.
  9. Bake for 15 minutes
  10. Turn over chips and bake for a further 10 minutes.
  11. Serve with salad, veg, or beans!

  2. I'm not going to lie, I've heard a few horror stories about tofu so I've been a bit scared to try it but this post has made it sound delicious! And I'm always up for nuggets and chips, whatever kind!
