5 Minute Make up for On the Go

Being a 21st Century girl is tough! We are always on the go and that means we dont always have time to spend hours perfecting our look. These few products are small enough to fit in your make up bag, thrown in your day bag and can be applied on the go and touched up as and when you need, although they are all long lasting and never let me down through my day at work-and working in retail can get hot and stressful, if my make up can withstand that then it can withstand anything!

If you want your make up to apply well and last you need the right base. I love my eye wake eye gel, it removes dark circles, and reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Honestly this product has been such a game changer for me! I find it so soothing to apply in the morning its fresh and wakes up my tired eyes, preventing them from feeling dry and tired. Another game changer for me is my #insta Fix and Go by Rimmel. I LOVE spritzing this on my face in the morning making me feel fresh and helping to keep my make up in place ALL day.

It will come as a surprise to no one that my foundation of choice is the Body Shop Matte Clay foundation. You can read my  BLOGMAS DAY 22: FROSTED SILVER AND NUDE MAKE UP LOOK and OCTOBER FAVORITES
posts and see how much I love this product. I've chosen it for my 5 minute make up look because of its light weight packaging, its long lasting matte finish and its ease of application whether you love applying your make up with a brush or your hands-make sure you have a wipe with you if applying with your hands on the go...no one wants to leave a foundation fingerprint trail!
For the brows I've opted for the Primark Brow Liner-Ooh my is this a good product! I love its easy application and its the perfect colour. There's no faffing around with angled brushes with this!

Benefit are owning highlight and bronze. These two are a power duo and with benefit doing  miniatures they are the prefect products for your on the go bag. I apply these so quickly and you dont need super precision here again-the theme of this post as both are highly blendable and look fab for long periods of time, especially I find when paired with the Matte Clay foundation.

TIME SAVER TIP- I then go in with the Hoola Bronzer for my eye shadow. This saves having to carry an eye palette and looks fab! I love the warm brown tone of my hoola bronzer as an eye shadow and layer it up to give a subtle warmth to my lids

For mascara I use my Hypnose volume a porter miniature. I am for ever raving about the longevity of this product and its buildable volume. You only need to apply two coats to get a good amount of volume and it doesnt budge-which is what you want for a day at work.

When you are on the go you dont want to be worrying about your lipstick running or smudging everywhere. I love a red lip but its just not practical for a 5 minute make up look on the go. I've opted for a pink nude from topshop in the colour macaroon. I LOVE this lippy its so moisturizing.

Of course I have included my compact mirror because its an essential for any on the go make up-how can you see what you are doing and check out your look without your compact?

  4. I'm loving this post! I'm always on the look out for products that are easy to apply as sometimes I really cannot be bothered to go all out with a full face, the eye wake gel sounds fab and I didn't actually personally get on with the body shop matte foundation but I'm tempted to try it again now! I really want to try Hoola too :-)
